Management Quota

Management Quota Admissions at RVCE How We Guide You

Management Quota is one of the most misunderstood parts of engineering admissions. Here is what it actually means, how it works at RVCE, and how Engineering Padho helps you navigate it.

Important disclaimer first: Engineering Padho cannot procure, reserve, or guarantee Management Quota seats at RVCE. All seats are allotted entirely by RVCE's admissions administration. Our role is to guide you through the process correctly not to act as a middleman between you and the college. Anyone claiming to "sell" Management Quota seats should be treated with extreme caution.

What is Management Quota at RVCE?

RVCE reserves approximately 25% of its B.E. seats for direct admission under Management Quota. These seats are filled outside the KCET and COMEDK counselling process, directly by the college's administration.

Management Quota is a legitimate, AICTE-approved admission channel designed to give colleges some flexibility in student intake. It is governed by Karnataka's Private Educational Institutions Act. Fees under this quota are higher than KCET or COMEDK seats.

Key facts about RVCE Management Quota:

  • ~25% of total seats in each branch
  • CSE / ISE / AIML seats fill the fastest typically April to June
  • Fees: ₹2,02,440 – ₹2,08,440 per year (verify directly with RVCE)
  • Eligibility same as KCET/COMEDK: PCM + 45% in 12th
  • No specific entrance exam mandatory but KCET/COMEDK score strengthens your application
  • Apply directly via: rvce.edu.in/admissions or email admissions@rvce.edu.in

Rank reality check

We tell you honestly whether your KCET or COMEDK rank is achievable for your target branch at RVCE with data from the latest counselling rounds, not guesswork.

02

Route selection

We help you decide whether KCET, COMEDK, or Management Quota is the right route for your specific situation factoring in rank, state, budget, and timing.

03

What we don't do: Engineering Padho does not guarantee seats, does not act as an intermediary between you and RVCE, does not collect fees on behalf of RVCE, and is not affiliated with RVCE or any institution. Our service is strictly independent counselling and guidance.
Common Questions

FAQs RVCE Admissions

What is the cutoff rank to get CSE at RVCE? +
For KCET 2025, the CSE closing rank at RVCE was 234–499 for General category students. For COMEDK 2024, it was around 307–542. Can I get into RVCE from outside Karnataka? +
Yes. Students from any Indian state can apply to RVCE through COMEDK UGET (approximately 25% of seats) or through Management Quota. KCET is only for Karnataka domicile students. COMEDK is highly competitive for CSE/ISE at RVCE the 2024 closing rank was around 307–542 for CSE.
How does RVCE Management Quota work? +
RVCE reserves ~25% of its B.E. seats for Management Quota admissions. These are filled directly by the college outside KCET/COMEDK counselling.
